What IS the problem?

In a nutshell, I never calm down. I have never been able to feel a peaceful sense of moving steadily through life, meeting challenges with excitement and confidence.

No matter what is going on, I perceive emergency, chaos, and distress, followed by swings into joy, excitement and optimism. Up and down and round and round till I, and everyone around me, is exhausted.

And THIS is the problem.

Seeing the problem leads to finding the solution, right? So keep on reflecting on this, the answer will come!

I'll be praying it comes soon, & that you'll discover how to live in the peace that passes all understanding, & find freedom from all that keeps you internally hyper~

I call that the Emo coaster. I ride it all the time too. However, despite it, it probably makes you vivacious and interesting. :)

I know exactly whatyou are talking about, and it is extremely uncomfortable. I want to see life as an adventure, not as a problem to be solved. I feel like I am playing some sort of game where danger lurks around every turn and I must be ever vigilant to survive. ~sigh~ I wake up somtimes and find my whole body tensed up, my hands clenched tightly, not even relaxed when I am sleeping! :-O LOL!

I am not sure what the answer is, but somehow we need to realize we are not responsible for the whole world. Even Atlas shrugs occasionally!

You are from a large family, aren't you? Are you the first born? I am the first born to a middle child mother and a youngest child father, and somehow I never felt they could be trusted to care for us!

Thanks so much to you all!

Connie, I am the oldest of eleven. And my parents were a middle child and a youngest child. How funny.

I always perceive you as a calm and wise soul. I never would have guessed you "clench." :)

I'm peaceful when things are good. When things are stressful I'm a ball of worry and I usually end up making things worse than they already were!

Thanks for sharing. ((hugs))
